73 (who?)
Tonight's sky is a fiber-optic forest
for us to lose our minds in,
for hopes to become the cloudscape
and for dancing to become the norm.

Tonight's moon is a promise made
to us to keep our dreams within,
for us to build a starlit staircase
and unlock that gilded cage.

Tonight's dusk is a champagne toast
for us to drown our sorrows in
and the reminder that tomorrow
our lives go supernovicly astray.
Another word for my O'Driscoll Dictionary. Today we have supernovicly!

Your choice of words was well used. It makes the reader imagine themselves in the situation that you want to them to see and feel.
The emotions in the poem are very deep. It's well written and the words can captivate the reader's soul.
I can even imagine a setting in the dark candle-lit forest, with two faces illuminated. Their hands intertwined, they make a toast with the stars as their witnesses to the dreams that they want to achieve.
It is a touching and loving poem. You did well and I hope that I did a well written critique of this work.
