Of all the words that mouth at love
and soften it with tongue and tooth
None will ever justify this breakage.
Never will there be diction enough
To make a heart salve, or tears unwept.

There will never be a word of woe
That suits to the shape of the thing.
Though many mouths may speak
of love and all her many expressions
airs, graces and confabulations.

None will correlate the meaning truly
how I loved for him, and he not for me.
"Thy lips are warm" is a quote from Romeo and Juliet, where Juliet kisses Romeo so that the poison he took will kill her.

Sometimes when I'm reading or studying or have watched Shakespeare my mind gets stuck in that language. Apologies if it annoys anyone.

Of all the thoughts that touch hate
and harden with finger and nail
Everyone will justify my binding.
Always there will little word of mouth
To destroy this mental poison, or blood spilt.

There will always be a sound of joy
That never fits into the size of it.
Though all minds will think
of hate and my few expressions
silence, disgrace and empty thoughts.

They all will differ in the lies
of why they hated me, but I did also.

This is gorgeous! Also, I love that word you used, "confabulations". I honestly have never seen that one before, haha.

I do exactly the same thing! When I learned The Tyger by William Blake, I spent the next few hours speaking to myself in the same meter and language. :P

Very well done.
